Horseradish is traditionally used as a food condiment and stimulates the appetite and gastric secretions. Traditionally it is used to clear the sinuses and assist with Hayfever . It can also be used internally to stimulate the circulation and can be used externally as a poultice for the same purpose. It can aslo be used for upper respiratory infections and UTI's . For upper respiritaroy infections include marshmallow root or another herb containing mucilage. For UTI'S use with couch grass or another herb high in mucilage.
